Earthy Flake System

Located in Raton, New Mexico, this project focused on complementing the home's rustic, wood-toned architecture with a custom epoxy flake floor. To achieve a balance between durability, natural aesthetics, and ease of maintenance, the homeowner selected an earth-toned flake blend designed to blend smoothly with the surrounding environment. To meet the client's preference for a smoother finish underfoot, our team applied two heavy topcoats over the flake aggregate. This additional layer significantly reduced the raw surface texture, creating a sleek, cleanable, and highly durable surface while preserving the full visual depth of the flake design.
